Homeless photographers, who can’t go to exhibition in New York, at these same time have an opportunity to spend a homeless weekend in Nantes, France.

The place
Bunkier DY 10 w Nantes, France

The place for our exhibition is a old bunker form WW2. For a few last years, belonging to diocese of Nantes, bunker is a squatt in which operates a few foundations.
Building is located in the city centre, on the island (Ille de Nantes) at the Loire river, with easy connection by public transport – tram line nr 1, stop at „chantier naval”.
The name of the stop means “shipyard” – we hope, that Nantes’ exhibition will be as succesful, as our venue at Gdansk “Solidarity” Shipyard three years ago.

How to get there

Public transport:
Tram nr 1 from the Railway Station in the direction «Francois Mitterand». You should get out at «chantier naval» stop, cross the bridge «Pont Anne de Bretagne» and walk straight forward – soon you will see the bunker.

By car
Take the direction «centre» and then «palais de justice». You will have a parking place vis-a-vis the bunker

International entries
deadline for International entries: September 14, 2005

We welcome international entries for the 2005 Nantes edition of the Galeria Bezdomna / Homeless Gallery / Galerie Vagabonde. We will arrange for a Homeless gallery volunteer to hang these works. If you are sending work from interstate or overseas it must arrive prior to September 14th, and must be free of any delivery charges etc. Work will not be returned unless return postage is included and it is packed in such a way that allows the original packaging to be reused.

We ask that you comply with a few requirements to participate in edition #33. You need to fill in an registration form. This excuses us from any liability that may occur in relation to exhibiting your works in Homeless Gallery #33.
This form cannot be signed by someone else on your behalf. It must be signed by you. We also ask you to fill in a registration form which will contain all your contact details should we need to get in touch, or if someone would like to purchase your work.
Work will only be returned if it is sent such that the original packaging can be used and International reply postage coupons of sufficient value are enclosed. Do not send postage stamps from your own country.
